RSCDS Annual Failte Ball
Time: 1:30 pm
"Falte' means "welcome" in Scots Gaelic; this is the annual beginner's ball (although, unless you have had SOME instruction in Scottish social dancing, most of the dances cannot be just jumped into). Note: this is an AFTERNOON dance, not an evening one. There is $10 entrance fee for non-dancers, to listen to the excellent music provided by Thistledown and to partake in light tasty refreshments. Kilts and festive attire encouraged, but not mandatory. Come and pretend you're at a wedding celebration from Outlander!
