Premiere of Muter Erd setting of Yiddish poem

    Time: 2:00 pm

I am excited to announce the premiere of a new work, Muter Erd (Mother Earth), a setting of a Yiddish poem in a song cycle of four poems by four different composers. The work has been commissioned by Minneapolis Yiddish Vinkl and Womenperformhers, and it's fabulous! Yiddish poetry is vibrant, colorful and has been neglected far too long. Come hear this piece of original music, Yiddish poetry, song and spoken word. All this for ten bucks! Such a deal!
